Create your own set of price classes for a customized analysis
What is it?
- Custom Price Classes enable you to set up your own be-spoke price segments, empowering you to have better control on how you want to analyse the market
Why do you need it?
- Targeted market segmentation: setting up the pricing landscape in your view enables accurate understanding of performance across targeted segments and improved competitive positioning
- Consumer spending trend: identify shifts toward premium products or value-for-money options to tailor your range line-up and marketing approaches
- Optimise product launches and refine promotional strategies in line with market demand to maximise sales and increase share-of-wallet in the right growth segments
How can you use it?
- You can start setting up and saving your Customised Price Classes by clicking on ‘Custom’ in the drop down menu in the Price Classes page
- A new Customisation tray will open on the right, click on the ‘+’ sign and enter your upper limit value to create a new price segment; you can also give this segment a label e.g “Entry – below 500” or “Premium”, etc
- Once you have set up your desired price segments, click on Apply to start analysing them. Remember to Save this set of price classes to access and apply them easily in the future
