Panelmarket: Retail
The GfK ‘panelmarket’ is made up of all the channels tracked by GfK for a certain product group within a country. Usually, there are additional channels in the total market, beyond what is tracked by GfK.
By default, all data on gfknewron is at panelmarket level. You may have chosen to adjust the scope of data you receive through gfknewron, for example to exclude B2B data or include only certain geographic areas. Details of the data scope is displayed in an information bar at the top of each screen.

GfK market coverage indicates which part of the total market is covered by GfK Market Intelligence data. It is calculated as units sold in the GfK panel (all tracked channels) divided by the estimated units sold in the total market (all channels).
Visit the GfK Wiki or get in touch with your CSM for more information, including topics like an overview of tracked channels or GfK market coverages for specific product groups or countries.
