Find Promotion Monitor under Pricing and Promotions in the left-hand menu navigation.
On top of the page select your brand and key strategic competitor brands. Set the time frame to the period you want to analyze. Use custom weeks to select a time frame spanning across multiple weeks. Select the relevant channel for your analysis.
Market Overview
The Market Overview section will show you the performance of temporary price reductions of your brand and your key competitors in absolute and relative terms.
For the selected channel unit shares inform you about the relative performance of the selected channel in the market. Immediately you can see whether you are looking at a large or small channel in the market.
The shares for the brands inform you about the performance of each brand within a channel. Within a channel the brand shares of all brands add up to 100%.
Price & Feature Segments
The Price & Feature segments section shows you the performance of temporary price reductions of your brand and your key competitors in absolute and relative terms within pre-defined price and feature segments
At the top of the Price & Feature segments section, the performance of the selected channel from the Market overview section is reported. It enables you to conveniently set the segment performance in context to the channel performance.
The shares for the price & feature segments inform you about the performance of each segment within a channel. Within a channel the segment shares add up to 100%.
The shares for the brands inform you about the performance of each brand within a price / feature segment. Within a segment the brand shares of all brands add up to 100%.
Within the feature segments section, you can select from a list of key segmentation criteria you want to segment the market by.
